Update!

Well the garage sale started out slow, but picked up. We actually sold alot of stuff and made around 100 dollars. I was happy with how it turned out. My son had a blast selling lemonade and cookies. He got to play outside pretty much all day. Both the kids were in great need of a bath, but they had a fun day :)

Garage Sale

So I've been going through my whole house trying to clean out the stuff we don't need anymore. I was planning on having a garage sale with my cousin, but my hubby wants to give it a try at our house. So we will be having one tommorow hopefully we gets some customers. If not I'll take the stuff to my cousins in a couple of weeks. Pray that we make a little money. I really want to sign my ds up for t-ball, and we don't really have the money for it. So I'm hopeing to make a little tommorow. I'll let you know how it goes :)

Thursday Thirteen #5

Thirteen Things about Abbie

I'm reposting this to get some of your guys thoughts. With a few changes :)
Thirteen things that puzzle me about LOST:
1. What is really going on with the pregnant ladies?
2. Where did the others come from?
3. Who in the world is the Darhma Initiative, and where did they go?
4. How and why do the others know all about the survivors?
5. Why does Jack trust Juliet?
6. How did Lock's dad come to the island and why?
7. What is the black smoke, and where does it come from?
8. Where did Michael really go? And will he return?
9. Why are so many characters connected in there past?
10. Is this whole thing real or all in their heads?
11. Why does Desmond see the future, and who is he really? How is this women who fell from the sky connected to him?
12. Why do the others live on the island in the first place?
13. Why do I feel more LOST after watching every episode?

I have many others questions, but these are first I came up with :)

Real Mom

Well Tiff tagged me to do this so I'll give it a shot:

These are the things that came to my mind about being a real mom.

1. You can change a poopy diaper only using one diaper wipe(this always amazes my hubby)

2. You can recognize you kids cry even in a group of other kids

3. You have magic kisses that heal boo-boos

4. On the way to the store you can answer 100 questions that your kids are sure you have the answers to.

5. I'll have to go along with one of Tiff's. You can carry a baby and a diaper bag, as well as a few other things.(my hubby is in awe of that too)

6. You can nurse a infant while eating

7. You can tell your kids are getting in to mischief by how quite they are

Easter

Well we had a fun and busy weekend. After my sons soccer game we went to my sis inlaws house and we dyed eggs. The kids all had alot of fun. When we came home my husband did the ressurection eggs with the kids. My son really enjoyed that, and I think he is begining to grasp the story. On Sunday we gave the kids there Easter baskets. We got them each a small toy and a dvd, and we got them a childrens read along bible that came with a dvd. After that we had church. For lunch we went to my sisters house, and had an egg hunt with the kids from my family. Later in the afternoon we went to my in-laws and had another egg hunt.

Here is my baby girl tasting her eggs

My son is showing hubby how many eggs he found

Here is the kids in there Easter clothes

Last Soccer

Well My little man had his last soccer game on Saturday. It rained so it had to be indoors. He had alot of fun and he actually made a goal. It was in the wrong direction, but at least he got the idea :) It was really fun watching him. I think we might sign him up for t-ball next. Here are a couple pics from the game.

Thirteen things that puzzle me about LOST:

I've been tagged by Tiff to do this highly intriguing birthday Wikipedia thingie.
Here's what I had to do:
1. Go to Wikipedia and type in your Birthday Month and day only.
2. List 3 Events that occurred that day.
3. List 2 important Birth days.
4. List 1 Death.
5. List a Holiday or Observance. (if any)
6. Tag 5 other bloggers.
And here goes nuthin':

Events:
1804 - At Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, Napoleon Bonaparte crowns himself Emperor of the French, the first French Emperor in a thousand years.
1859 - Militant abolitionist leader John Brown is hanged for his October 16th raid on Harper's Ferry.
1976 - Fidel Castro becomes President of Cuba replacing Osvaldo Dorticós Torrado.

Birthdays:
1981 - Britney Spears, American singer
1960 - Rick Savage, British bassist (Def Leppard)

Death:
1547 - Hernán Cortés, Spanish explorer and conqueror (b. 1485)

Holiday or Observance:
International Day for the Abolition of Slavery - United Nations

I don't really know five people on here so I just tag the one person I know who hasn't been.

Great Movie

My husband and I got to spend Sunday together without the kids. My in-laws watched them for us after church. We went and saw Amazing Grace at the theater it was a really good movie, and I would definitely recommend it. It is about the true story of William Wilberforce who worked for years to get slavery abolished in Great Britian.
Here is a qoute from a movie review:
"For most Americans, William Wilberforce isn't a household name. Amazing Grace may change that. This powerful film recounts the celebrated English reformer's fierce battle to abolish slavery in the British Empire. It also chronicles the faith journey of a man who struggled to reconcile his passion for justice and politics with his natural inclination to retreat into a secluded life of spiritual contemplation. A couple new pics

My son and his cousins dressed as frogs for our churches family fun night. They hopped around to a great frog tune. It was really cute.

Here is a pic of my baby girl wearing a dress I made for her. She loves wearing pretty things.
