Anyway, the Music of My Life:
1. Name a song or songs that remind you of your young childhood...up until age 7:
My sister and I loved listening to Music Machine, Bullfrogs and Butterflies, Psalty ect.
We also had this record from my Granny that was kids songs sung by British children, there was one song on there called Little Princess that we really liked.
When I was a little older I really liked White Heart, DC Talk, Petra, Degarmo and Key, Amy Grant, Steve Taylor, and a bunch of other old christian bands.
2. Okay, what songs bring you back to Junior High?
I bought my first CD's in Junior high and they were Newsboys, and Jars of Clay.
I also like DC Talk, PFR, and Audio Adrenaline, Code of Ethics, ect.
3. Break down all 4 years of high school with songs.
I really couldn't tell you specific years, but at early one I liked Jackie Velesquez, Out of Eden, and other girly songs that we danced to.
Later I was more into: Supertones, Shaded Red, Skillet, Switchfoot, Audio Adrenanline ect.
I also really liked swing music.
4. Songs from College
Probably not a whole lot different than my High school list. I only went to College for one year and didn't have a whole lot of time for music. I do remember going to a Third Day concert that year. I think this is when I branch out a little and started listening to some harder stuff that my now hubby liked. POD ect.
5. Your Wedding Songs
My wedding party walked down to Cannon in D (I always loved that song, and I found a really neat version of it)
I walked down to a song from Empire of the Sun (I love that movie)
My cousin sang a SmallTown Poets song for communion
Our first dance was to A Tourniquet song
6. Songs From the Holidays
I love Christmas music, but some of my favs. are Nat King Cole, Harry Connick Junior Christmas (this brings back alot of memories for me).
My favorite carol is O Holy Night.
When I was a kid I really like that one old Michael W. Smith christmas album.

Update!
Buster had his 4 year check up today. He was really good with the dr. and cooperated really well. He weighs 47lbs and is 42 inches, so he has gained about 7lbs this year. He is getting so big.
Also I went in for my date check ultrasound on Monday. My mom came with me to help watch the kids. Buster was really excited about seeing the baby, and when the little peanut started moving Buster said he/she was dancing. It was really funny because sweetpea thought the baby was a doggy :) The baby was moving around alot and actually measured three days larger than my dates. So I think he/she is doing well.

Happy Birthday Buster!
My son turns 4 years old today ;( I can't believe it. He is growing up way too fast. His actual party is not till Sunday, I will post some pics of the party next week. Here are a couple pics I took for his invitation. He is having a Peter Pan party, and I think he looks really cute as Peter.

Thirtten things about buster in honor of his 4th birthday 1. He has entirely too much energy for his own good. 2. He can never ask why too many times. 3. He loves any super hero that can fly. 4. Any form of water is awesome to him (rivers, oceans, waterfalls ect.) 5. He could eat fruit all day if I let him, veggies have to be forced though. 6. He loves every animal and wishes they could all be his pet. 7. He has to ask me whether each animal comes out of an egg or from it's mommy.(It was really funny one time he was in the process of trying to free the baby chickens from our eggs in the fridge. Luckily I caught him before much disaster occured.) 8. When he grows up he wants a green truck. (we'll see if he sticks to this) 9. He loves being outdoors and could live at the park. 10. To him birthday parties are the most exciting days of the year. 11. Collecting bugs is way too much fun. 12. He can't wait to grow up and be big like daddy so he can drive (he told me this yesterday, I was a little frightened by that) 13. He is the craziest and sweetest boy ever, and I wouldn't trade him for anyone. Links to other Thursday Thirteens!1. (leave your link in comments, I’ll add you here!) |

It's July 3rd
Hey! I hope everyone has a great 4th of July! I went to my Dr. office yesterday for my first check up. My CNM decided to do a quick Ultrasound so we could hear the heart beat and such. So I got to see our little peanut, his/her heartbeat was really fun to hear, I think she said it was 178. Also she measured him/her real quick and it measure just right for my dates so that was good. She looked around and said there was only one :) Anyways here is a pic:
