We had Sweetpeas 2nd Birthday Party yesterday. Her actual birthday is Wednesday, but Sunday's work best for parties. Her party was a Dumbo/circus theme and it was alot of fun. We had carnival games for the kids, and all sorts of circus foods. Here are some pics of the party that you might enjoy.

Golden Compass Movie
I received an email about this and thought it was interesting. Check it out at this link:
http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/compass.asp
"There will be a new Children's movie out in December called THE GOLDEN COMPASS based on the book called HIS DARK MATERIALS by Phillip Pullman, a proud artist who belongs to secular humanistic societies. He hates C.S. Lewis's Chronicle’s of Narnia and has written a trilogy to show “the other side.” The movie has been dumbed down to fool kids and their parents in the hope that they will buy the book trilogy which Pullman says he wants children to read so they can decide against God and the kingdom of heaven. He was quoted in a 2003 interview as saying “My books are about killing God.” In the end of the trilogy the children kill God and everyone can do as they please. Nicole Kidman stars in the movie so it will probably be heavily marketed. This is just a friendly warning that you are sure not to hear on regular TV. Check out snopes for more information."

Tackle it Tuesday
Today I need to clean out just a couple more things. The bathroom medicine cabinet and the shoe closet. I got the bathroom closet all cleaned out last week. Also I am making some carnival games for sweetpeas party out of cardboard boxes, and I want to get them painted today.
Here is a couple pics of the boxes I got painted:
I let buster paint the back of the ticket booth. I think he did a really great job :)
Pumpkin Patch
We went to the Pumkin Patch on Sunday. Originally we were going to go on Saturday, but it rained all day. First we went to a local fruit stand to pick out a pumpkin. It was super muddy, and the pumpkins did not look very good this year. We have had so much rain. Buster and I found a couple of pumpkins.
After that we went to a really fun patch that has carnival games and rides. The kids had a blast there, and here are some pics.

Our Week!
Well I had my regular 24 week ultrasound this morning. Once again our baby girl wasn't very co-operative for pics, but we got a few cute ones. Her size and organs all looked great though. The kids really liked watching the ultrasound. My CNM had me schedule a ultrasound for 36 weeks to check the babies size. Hopefully this one will be a little smaller :)
Buster and I had to go to the regular Dr. today also. We both have a right ear infection, Sweetpea had tonsilitis last week. We all had this terrible cold that has just lasted for weeks, but it seems like mabey now we will be feeling better soon.
The kids have been loving their swimming lessons. Buster was really bummed that we had to skip today. I'm also posting some pics that we had taken this month below the ultrasound pics. I think they turned out great.

Tackle it Tuesday
Well I'm still trying to get my whole house cleaned and decluttered. We did a bunch this weekend. I got the kitchen, pantry, and my bedroom reorginized and cleaned. We even moved all our furniture around in the bedroom so I can put a cradle by my bed side. Today I would like to tackle the bathroom closet and the coat closet. I'll let you know what all I get done.

Swimming Lessons!
The kids had their first swimming lessons today. Sweetpea had to have someone in the water with her, so my hubby went with her today. Buster had to go with just his teachers. I was a little nervous when I had to have him sit beside the pool and leave him. The parents are supposed to watch from an observation area. I went up to it feeling a little worried for him, but he did great. He wasn't scared at all and he followed instruction very well. I'm really excited about it and I hope he actually learns alot :)

Busters first horse ride
Well this Saturday Buster had soccer. Practice went really well and all the kids had a blast. I forgot the camera again :(, but I plan on getting some shots next week. They had a harvest festival at the park on Saturday, and they were giving horse/pony rides for $1. So we payed for the kiddos to have one. Buster loved it and below are some cute pics. Sweetpea was so excited until she was put on the horse, and then she got scared. So she didn't end up riding.
