Half Way!

Well I made it to the half way point of this pregnancy! I'm feeling pretty good right now, and can't wait to meet this new little one. I'm sure the time will go by quickly enough. Sweetpea has doing awesome this week with the potty. Hopefully by the time this new one comes she will have it down really well. Buster is continuing to amaze me with his PreK work he is learning really well. Also I'm going to start volunteering at the YMCA. A friend is teaching a couple of preschool classes their and she asked me to help her in exchange for a free membership. It is two mornings a week and I can bring the kids with me! We went on Wednesday and Buster really liked the class. Hopefully it will work out. I can't wait to get the kids in some swimming lessons, it will also be nice to get a discount on the sports. Another nice thing about it is after the baby is born I can take up to 6 weeks off. Anyways that is my ramblings for the week :) I will post some pics of Buster playing soccer when I get some good ones. Have a good weekend!

Soccer!

Well Buster had his first soccer practice today. When we got there we found out they were short on coaches so my hubby ended up volunteering :) It was a little chaotic at first, but together I think we did a pretty good job. Buster had a blast, and we got put with a great group of kids. They all seemed to know what they were doing and participated really well. I didn't get any pictures this week, but I will get some the next few times. Anyway hopefully the next few weeks goes well also.

Baby News!

Well we had the ultrasound today and everyting that they could measure and see looked normal. It is not a hundred percent gaurantee, but it was enough to set us at ease. The Dr.'s up there were great and they did not seem to concerened at this point. We were offered an amnio if we wanted it, but we decided not to have one.
So as of now we are not being recommended for any special care or further testing. We did end up finding out that the baby is a girl, she was a little shy at first. After some proding the dr. said they were 90% sure it was a girl. No we do not have any names picked out yet. Thanks for all your prayers they really helped :)

Look at that foot!

3 Words!

I saw these video clips on ABC's show ICaught and I thought they were really touching. People were asked to submit video clips with three words describing there week, and ABC compilied them in to a montage. They have done two so far and there will be a new one next Tuesday. If you haven't seen them you should check them out. Here are the links:

Umbrellas!

My sweetpea got her first umbrella yesterday. She was so excited. It rained on Monday and Buster got his umbrella out to go outside, and she was sad that she didn't have one so now she does. Here are a couple pics I thought were cute.

First week of PreK!

We finished Busters first week of at home preK. He had alot of fun and did really well. The first day I told him it was time to do school work he got a upset at me and had to sit on his bed. I think he sat in there for like 5 minutes then he decided he was ready he came out and did really well. Today he was begging to start school when he got up :) I was really impressed a couple of days ago he sat by me and we went through the letters sounds. He knew almost all of them! I highly recommend the Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD. Anyways here is a little bit of the work he did this week. We don't have a specific curriculum I have just been making it up on my own.

Pregnancy Update

I just thought I'd let you all know that I had my quad test done last Thursday. I got a call on Monday saying that I had tested positive for an increased risk of the baby having down syndrome. I went in and had the test redone, but the results were the same. My CNM said my test came back giving me a 1 in 179 chance instead of 1 in 1,000 like it should be. So my hubby and I will be driving up on September 10th to see a specialist and have an ultrasound done. Hopefully the ultrasound will clear everything up for us. Most likely the baby is perfectly fine, but we just want to make sure. If you all could keep us in your prayers that would be great. I will update later with more info. No matter what happens this baby is a blessing from God and we love it already.

Camping!

Well we went camping on Saturday! We promised buster we'd go camping this summer, and we were planning to go this week(but my husbands vacation got changed). We decided we had better go this weekend or it probably wouldn't happen this year. Buster had a blast and he loved it all. Sweetpee loved the beach and everything until bed time. As soon as I told her it was time to sleep in the tent she was not a happy camper. Also our air mattress deflated so it was not too comfortable I think buster was the only one who got much sleep. I got some cute pics anyways so here they are:

Today I'm in the process of tackling my kids room. I'm trying to get rid of unescisary toys, clothes they have grown out of ect. I also am trying to figure out how best to reorginize it. I will post a pic later of my progress. I was also in the process of cleaning out there closet that is full of blankets clothes ect. I got pretty far until a mouse ran by my leg and freaked me out, so now I have to wait for my hubby to do some mouse killing before I can finish the closet :(

This week!

Well my poor little boy got a bladder infection this week :( I was able to get him to the Dr. on Thursday before the weekend. Luckily I caught it early enough that it wasn't too bad of one, but he was misrable for a couple of days in the bathroom every 5 min. or so. He is feeling alot better today though. I was bummed to relize he most likely got it from playing in some water at Sunset Bay on Sunday. His Dr. said that beach has really high levels of bacteria in the water, and to stear clear of there. So I think we will scratch that one off the list. Luckily Sweetpea didn't get sick at all.

I made it to 14 weeks yesterday so I'm 1/3 done now :) just starting my second trimester. My morning sickness has gotten alot better the last couple of weeks, so that is nice. I started feeling quickining(or early baby movements) when I was about 12 weeks. When I went to my CNM on the 31st she said that was pretty early, but possible. The baby gave her a little bit of a time finding the heart beat. She finally got it and it was nice and steady around 160.

I hope everyone has a good weekend :)

Family Coast Trip

We went to the Coast yesterday with a bunch of my family. My brothers kids are hear right now and this is the first time we have seen them in a year. So we all thought it would be fun to have a day at the beach. The kids all had a blast and got completely filthy. Sweetpea loved the water and couldn't get enough of playing in it. Here are some pics of my kids from yesterday.
