It's March again!

Well this year has been really flying by for me. The kids are all doing great. Buster is loving his Taekwondo class, Sweetpea is getting bigger and learning more all the time, and our newest little girl is getting more alert every day. I just thought I'd post a few new pictures for your enjoyment.

Her lips are purple from her thrush treatment :)

Sweetpea decided to draw on her legs instead of her body

Buster should be getting his Karate outfit tonight finally. I will post some pics of that and Easter soon.

Happy St. Patricks day!

Well it is St. Patrick's day so for all your enjoyment here are some Irish blessings:

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. The sun shine warm upon your face. The rain fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

May your pockets be heavy-
Your heart be light
And may good luck pursue you
Each morning and night

May God be with you and bless you.
May you see your children's children.
May you be poor in misfortunes
and rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
from this day forward.

May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer

Count your blessings instead of your crosses; Count your gains instead of your losses. Count your joys instead of your woes; Count your friends instead of your foes. Count your smiles instead of your tears; Count your courage instead of your fears. Count your full years instead of your lean; Count your kind deeds instead of your mean. Count your health instead of your wealth; Love your neighbor as much as yourself.

FROM THE BREASTPLATE OF SAINT PATRICK

Christ be with me, Christ be within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger
Christ in hearts of all that love me
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

Sick!

Well we started out the weekend when my husband got home on Friday. We decided to go to Eugene. We took the kids to Chuckee Cheese they had a blast, then my hubby decided we should stay the night up there. We drove around for almost 2 hrs trying to find a hotel that wasn't full. We finally did, and it was not that great oh well. The next day we tried to take the kids to see the Water Horse, buster loved it, but the girls did not co-operate so well. We ended up leaving before it was finished, luckily it was at the 1.50 theater. When we finally got home on Saturday buster had a fever, so we spent all day Sunday at home with sick kids. I took them to the Dr. on Monday and he said they had tonsilitis. They are taking antibiotics now, but are still dealing with fevers off and on and nasty coughs. I also got sick on Monday and have yet to kick it. So far the baby seems fine other than her stupid thrush that we have been trying to get rid of for 4 weeks. The baby finally started liking baths ,but I have yet to find a baby soap that doesn't give her a rash. Buster started taking a Taekwondo class at the YMCA. He has had one class so far and my hubby said he did really well. I wasn't able to go because sweetpea and I were sick. It was so cute to see him so excited about it when he got home. Hopefully he will have fun doing it. Well that is about how our week has gone hopefully it will be better next week.

Fun with three!

So I have been pretty busy adjusting to having three kids, and I thought I should give you a little update. Our sweet baby girl is doing great. I have yet to think of a nickname for her, and it might take a little time. She is a very sweet and good natured baby so far :) I am still suffering from a lack of sleep, but it hasn't been too bad. Buster has been going a little stir crazy and I can't wait for warmer weather so he can get some energy out. It will actually be nice to start working at the Y again because it is a good outlet for him. Sweetpea is having a little bit of hard time adjusting. She wants to be held more than ever, and she thinks the new one is a doll that she can play with. I have to keep her in my sights at all times. Sweetpea gave us a scare last week. I was in my bedroom with the baby, and she pushed a chair up to the baby gate climbed over, then climbed on to the counter and got some childrens tylenol of the top shelf. Apparently she was not enticed by the two bags a valentines candy :) Luckily buster took them away from her before she consumed the entire bottle. I had to take her to have her blood drawn and for a dr. visit. Her blood levels were elevated to 68 and the Dr. said that if they were 100 or over she would have been hospitalized. Fortunately she got away with just a bad tummy ache. Other than that we are all doing well!

Our baby girl is here!

Well our newest baby girl was born January 26th at 1:33am. She was 8lbs 10oz and 21 in. Having her two weeks early was really a good thing. Buster got to watch her be born and he was very excited about it. Sweetpea was so cute at the hospital while I was in labor, she walked me up and down the halls to get things going. I was really happy with her reaction when Gumpy and Moogy brought her in to see the baby after the birth. The baby and I are both doing great. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers :)
We almost escaped the hospital Saturday at 7:00pm, but we ended up having to stay over night again because the baby had an elevated bilirubin count. That next day there was really slow and we finally got out at 2:30 on Sunday.

A few thoughts and happenings?

Well 6 days now until I will be induced, and I am feeling excited and a little nervous. I really don't feel prepared to be the mother of 3 children, but I'm sure in time I will figure it out. I'm just trying to make sure we have everything ready for the baby.

Last weekend we took the kids to see The Pirates who don't do anything. It was sweetpea's first time at the movie theater and she actually did really well. Buster had his 4.5 year check up on Wednesday and he now weighs 50lbs. My little boy is growing up so fast I can't believe how the time has gone. He is really excited about the new baby, and I think he will be a good little helper. Anyways our baby will be here really soon and I will update as soon as I can :) If you think of us next weekend say a prayer for us that everything will go really well.

Baby news!

Well I had an ultrasound today to check our babies size. She was measuring in at 7lbs 1oz, so my CNM went ahead and scheduled my induction for January 25th. I will be 38 weeks that day, and hopefully the baby will be smaller than sweetpea was. The ultrasound was fun because the baby has hair now and chubby cheeks. We can't wait to see her.

100th post!

Well this is my 100th post on this blog wow. We had a great Christmas this year. The kids had a blast. I went to see my CNM today for a check up, I will be 34 weeks tommorow. She told me today that depending on how big the baby is,when they check her size in two weeks. They will either induce me at 37 weeks after an amnio to check lung maturaty or they will go ahead and wait until 38 weeks without an amnio. So unless for some reason she happens to be small at my next ultrasound I should have her at the most in 4 more weeks. Wow when I type that out it seems really soon. Hopefully it will go a little smoother this time around. Here are some Christmas pics:

Our week!

Well we've had an interesting week. Buster and Sweetpea were both sick on different days with a stomach bug not fun. I tweeked my back earlier this week and had to lay around for a few days :( I had an ultrasound on Thursday and the baby estimated weight was 4.5lbs wich puts her 1-2weeks ahead for average baby size, but I don't have average sized babies so were not too shocked. Everything looked good with her, and they will be checking her size again on January 10th. I haven't gotten any Christmas baking done hopefully next week I can. I will post some new pics soon.

New post finally!

Well I'm finally posting an update and some pics. I went in to see my CNM on Thursday, and I got the medication I needed for my itching. So far the itching has gotten better, but not totally gone. After my CNM and I were talking over what was going on I reminded her of the medicine I took last time. She went to check my records and figure out how much I needed. When she was on the computer she looked at my blood work from when I was pregnant with sweetpea. She called me over to see, and we both had forgotten it wasn't my bile salts that were elavated it was my LFT's. It turned out that they had not check my LFT's yet so I had to have my blood drawn again. They will probably let me know next week how that turned out. My next appt. is Dec. 13th and I will be having another ultrasound to check the babies size, and to check on the umbillical cyst. I will update on that later. Here are some pics from November you might enjoy.
