We are finally all feeling better from our nasty flu. I can't wait for it to stay warm. We have had some really wacky weather. One weekend it was about 85 degrees the next we had hail and snow. Buster finished up his Taekwondo session. Unfortunatly it ended up that it was going to be much more expensive than I thought, and he wanted to do some other things. He will be doing swimming lessons instead for now.
I will be refering to our youngest as half-pint for now just so you know. She is doing really well. Half-pint it such a sweet little bundle of joy. She started sleeping through the night, and is generally so mellow. At her 2 month check she was around 13lbs and 25.5 in (another tall girl).

I'm Glad it's the weekend!
Well I've spent the entire week tending sick kids, and now I'm starting to get sick :( Buster seems to be better finally, sweetpea is still sick, and our baby is on the mend. I'm so glad for the weekend though so we can at least all sleep in.
Buster read for the first time yesterday :) He has know his letter sound for awhile now, but the reading word thing finally clicked. He was so excited and I can't wait to work with him some more. For those who don't know we plan to homeschool him this fall. My hubby and I are going to go to a homeschool convention up in Portland in June to check out different curriculum options.
That is my update for now hopefully next week will go better than this one.

2 months, Karate, ER
Well our sweet baby turned 2 months this week. She is smiling and cooing alot now.
Buster really got into Taekwondo this week and earned his first stripe. He needs two more to earn his orange belt. He also earned a yellow star for being the best listener. Buster is getting so big now he is about to loose his first tooth.
On Friday night I went to put some Jammies on the baby(she had been a little congested for a few days) She started coughing having a hard time breathing. My hubby and I were very freaked out by it. I ended up taking her to the ER :( After a combo of the cold air and waiting for 4 hours she had mellowed out. The Dr. that saw us was completely useless, and said she looked alright to him. I believe she has croup or something. I have been running the humidifier now and it seems to help, but she still has her moments. Now the other two are sick as well. Hopefully they will feel better soon.

A lot to post!
Well I have a lot to post about, but I will start with Easter. We had a great Easter. I sewed the girls matching dresses and they turned out great. The kids had so much fun dying eggs and egg hunting. My husband forgot his camera at his moms on Easter so that is why I did not post sooner. Here are some pictures:

Purim!
Yesterday was Purim, and we took the kids to our church for a Purim carnival. If you do not know Purim is a Jewish holiday to celebrate the life of Esther. Buster dressed up as King Xerxes and Sweetpea was Queen Esther.

It's March again!
Well this year has been really flying by for me. The kids are all doing great. Buster is loving his Taekwondo class, Sweetpea is getting bigger and learning more all the time, and our newest little girl is getting more alert every day. I just thought I'd post a few new pictures for your enjoyment.
Her lips are purple from her thrush treatment :)
Sweetpea decided to draw on her legs instead of her body
Buster should be getting his Karate outfit tonight finally. I will post some pics of that and Easter soon.

Happy St. Patricks day!
Well it is St. Patrick's day so for all your enjoyment here are some Irish blessings:
May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. The sun shine warm upon your face. The rain fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
May your pockets be heavy-
Your heart be light
And may good luck pursue you
Each morning and night
May God be with you and bless you.
May you see your children's children.
May you be poor in misfortunes
and rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
from this day forward.
May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer
Count your blessings instead of your crosses; Count your gains instead of your losses. Count your joys instead of your woes; Count your friends instead of your foes. Count your smiles instead of your tears; Count your courage instead of your fears. Count your full years instead of your lean; Count your kind deeds instead of your mean. Count your health instead of your wealth; Love your neighbor as much as yourself.
FROM THE BREASTPLATE OF SAINT PATRICK
Christ be with me, Christ be within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger
Christ in hearts of all that love me
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

Sick!
Well we started out the weekend when my husband got home on Friday. We decided to go to Eugene. We took the kids to Chuckee Cheese they had a blast, then my hubby decided we should stay the night up there. We drove around for almost 2 hrs trying to find a hotel that wasn't full. We finally did, and it was not that great oh well. The next day we tried to take the kids to see the Water Horse, buster loved it, but the girls did not co-operate so well. We ended up leaving before it was finished, luckily it was at the 1.50 theater. When we finally got home on Saturday buster had a fever, so we spent all day Sunday at home with sick kids. I took them to the Dr. on Monday and he said they had tonsilitis. They are taking antibiotics now, but are still dealing with fevers off and on and nasty coughs. I also got sick on Monday and have yet to kick it. So far the baby seems fine other than her stupid thrush that we have been trying to get rid of for 4 weeks. The baby finally started liking baths ,but I have yet to find a baby soap that doesn't give her a rash. Buster started taking a Taekwondo class at the YMCA. He has had one class so far and my hubby said he did really well. I wasn't able to go because sweetpea and I were sick. It was so cute to see him so excited about it when he got home. Hopefully he will have fun doing it. Well that is about how our week has gone hopefully it will be better next week.
