I hope you are all having a great Christmas season. I can't believe how fast it has flown by for us. The kids have been having a blast with our Advent days. I haven't been taking pictures as much the last week. I was sick for a few days, and my hubby did some of the things with them. He baked monster cookies with them all by himself. This week for school the kids made Nativity lapbooks. I think they turned out pretty cute. Here is a link for the templates. http://www.scribd.com/doc/525730/Nativity-Lapbook
We made applesauce and cinnamon ornaments last night. You take 1/2 cup applesauce and 1/2 cup of cinnamon stir together and it makes a dough. You can then roll out cut out shapes and let dry. Also you'll need to poke a whole in the top while they are wet for a string. A straw works well for this. They take awhile to dry, but they smell great.
I also printed the kids out this easy Christmas activity. It is more for preschooler's but Buster liked it too. http://lapbooksbycarisa.homestead.com/ChristmasTotBook.html
Here is a picture of some Christmas words Buster wrote. His handwriting is getting better all the time.

Yeah, we didn't get to do our lapbooks...I'm bummed...thoroughly bummed. But - we've had some really great times together, so I'm ok.
Your pics look great! I hope you're feeling much better now.
