Bubbles!

My sister and I have been taking turns each week planning something fun for the kids to do. Today was my day, and I decided bubbles would be fun. I got a bunch of bubble wands at the dollar tree, and decided to try and make homemade bubble solution. I found a recipe online and tried it. I think it worked great the solution was very thick and was easy for kids to use. Here is the recipe if anyone wants to try it. (Take 1 cup water, 2 tbls of light corn syrup, 4 tbls of dishwashing liquid, and mix them together gently. Do not mix it together so much that it foams.) I made it up the night before beacause one site said it worked better after sitting over night. Any ways you should go try it.

6 Months!

Well our youngest is 6 months old today :) She is such a sweetie and is growing so fast. She is starting to really enjoy eating solids. You can't keep her in one place now, she rolls, scoots, and does a funny crawl with her head on the floor. We just set up her big crib this week also. Here are some new pics of her.

Eating fun!

Yum!

Head crawl, stand.

Buster is 5!

Well our little man turned 5 on Saturday. I can't believe how big he's getting. His party was on Sunday, and he had a blast. He wanted a Narnia/knight party, so my husband and I made him a castle cake. I think it turned out great, and buster loved it. It was so cute on his birthday when I put him to bed for the night he told me "I'm glad I'm 5 now mom". He had a check up today at the Dr.'s and he is now 51lbs and 45in. Here are some pictures from his party:

Happy 4th!

Well I hope everyone had a great Independance Day! The kids of course had a blast. Buster loved the firworks and didn't want them to end. Sweetpea enjoyed them with her ears covered the entire time. She can't stand loud noises. The little one was just in awe of them and only got scared during the end when they got really loud.
