Weekly Wrap up!

It's Friday! One more week down 3 to go, and we are ready for a break. We had a fun weekend and all the pictures are from last Saturday. Buster started carrying/regrouping a couple weeks ago. This has proven to be a bit tough for him. I finally got the picture and we got out the base ten blocks I bought off ebay. Working the problems out with these really helped. I need to remember to use his manipulatives more often. Sweetpea started basic adding, and has been counting all week. She also has a passion for puzzles, and has built the two we have a hundred times. I need to get her some more puzzles. She is also starting to blend cvc words very well. Other than that we are just moving forward and excited for summer.
Waiting for Buster!

Soccer kick off! Buster is the one with a blue shirt and black socks.

Weekly Wrap Up!

We just finished week 32 of our school year! Only 4 weeks left, and I can hardly believe it. This year has actually gone really well, and I'm very excited about next year. Buster's medical test came back normal, and he is feeling better this week. For some reason I did not even take one picture this week, but I will try and get some soccer pictures and such for next week. Basically we are just plugging along with our work and if all goes as planned will be done on May 21st. I plan to give the kids June off except for a reading challenge, and then start back 4 days a week at the beginning of July. Since Sweetpea already started her K work she will not finish, but will just start up where we left off. We attempted to start reading The Wind in the Willows for read aloud time, but found out it was not for us. Note to self "be sure and proof read before reading to children, even if it is a classic" LOL. Instead we will move on to Gentle Ben, because I found it at Salvation Army. It was one of my husbands favorites from childhood. Other than that we are just enjoying some gorgeous weather today, and hope to do so for the remainder of the weekend. I hope you all have a good weekend too.

Weekly Wrap up!

It seems like forever since I last posted a blog. We have been crazy busy with life, school, soccer, and Dr. visits. My husband got roped into coach Buster's first grade soccer team. We have had 3 games so far two of them being today. Buster did great at our second game today and actually scored a goal. Buster came down with a UTI after taking antibiotics last month. Ever since then he has been dealing with some urinary incontinence issues. The poor guy has gone through two different tests at the hospital, and they were not fun. So far the Dr. has not found anything. We will know about the last test on Monday. It seems that Buster is actually improving anyways, and we are just praying this will all be resolved soon. Buddy turned 5 months he is about 15.5 lbs and doing great. We started giving him solids last week and he is loving them. Sweetpea is doing great with her K work, and catching on to blending well. Buster has been plugging away at his work, and excited to get a break at the end of May. Buttercup is just starting to potty train, and I can tell it is going to take longer than my first two kids. She is just really reluctant about the whole thing. Here are some pictures of the last few weeks.
Buddy is 5 months!

Poor baby woke up looking like this on Friday. Thankfully we were able to get him into the Dr. and he is doing much better with some eye cream.
