Tackle it Tuesday completed

Well I did it! Here are some pics of the finished product. The kids were so excited and couldn't stay of of it. It is going to make a really nice picnic blanket.

Tackle it Tuesday

Tackle It Tuesday Meme
Well I thought this meme looked like fun so I thought I'd give it a try. Today I want to tackle my bandana quilt I have the front finished, but I need to put the backing on. I'll post a pic later when I get it done. Wish me luck :)

Little Helper

My son decided today he was big enough to fold towels. :) He usually helps me with laundry by putting things away when I'm done. This morning when I was folding he came over and said he could fold towels now. So I let him and he actually did a really good job. I only had to help him a little. Here are a couple pics of his work. He folded a bunch more after this.

Disappointed

Well for all you Pirate fans out there, my hubby and I went to see Pirates 3 on friday. I was pretty disappointed by the movie :( I loved the first two, the second had a few elements I wasn't crazy about, but I was hopeing for the third to wrap it all up nicely. Unfortunatly once again hollywood missed the mark. Turning a fun movie based on a childrens ride into a gorry mess. I'm sure if you liked the first two you will have to see it, but you may be disappointed also. I'm not going to give anything away here, but this show is beyond not kid friendly, and very confusing. It is also not as funny as the last two, since they used all the same jokes. Oh well, but if you do see it be sure to stay all the way through the credits :)

Vacation

So my husband is on Vacation this week. Yay! We are getting ready to go to the beach. We will be leaving on Monday and coming back some time Wednesday. The kids are really excited, and I hope the weather co-operates with us. My son keeps asking me when we are leaving, and he is pretty sure we are going to see whales and sharks. I hope we do not see sharks that would be scary :) Anyways I will post some pics when we get back. I hope everyone has a fun week.
For your amusement here are some really cheesy beach jokes I found :) Answers below.
What's the deep sea actor's name?
What do you get if you cross a fish with an elephant?
What washes up on really small beaches?
Where can a fish borrow money?

Day at the Beach
A woman was at the beach with her children when her four-year-old son ran up, grabbed her hand and led her to the shore where a sea gull lay dead in the sand. "Mommy, what happened to him?" the boy asked. "He died and went to heaven," she replied. The boy thought for a moment and then said, "And God threw him back down?"

When you are in any contest you should work as if there were - to the very last minute - a chance to lose it.
5.Theodore Roosevelt
Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.
6.Ronald Reagan
The best minds are not in government. If any were, business would hire them away.
7.Theodore Roosevelt
It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed. In this life we get nothing save by effort.
8.Calvin Coolidge
Don't expect to build up the weak by pulling down the strong.

11.Abraham Lincoln

I hope I shall always possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an "Honest Man."

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

T-Ball

So my son started T-ball on Saturday. He really enjoyed it! He was one of only a couple of kids, on his team, that understood how to run the bases. It was really fun to watch him run around, and hit the ball. He needs a little practice on catching though. Here are a couple of pics of his first practice. I will update you later on how the rest goes :)

Here he is getting ready to hit:

Crazy Day

Well I had a really busy day today. I had MOPS today and I showed up at 9:00. The meeting was kinda chaotic today, and my baby girl wasn't feeling to well. She has had this cold that has lasted a few weeks. It started out with a fever then she had a nasty runny nose, which turned in to a nasty chest rattle. I called the doctor from MOPS because she was really grouchy, and I had to keep her with me most of the meeting. Anyways I took her to the dr. this afternoon, and he said she had bronchitis. I have her medicine now so hopefully she will get better soon :(
