Weekly Wrap Up!

Summer finally arrived last weekend, then it promptly went back into hiding after about three days of sun. We bough the kids a pool, and they had a blast in it all weekend. This week I spent finally doing my spring cleaning. Just in time, because Summer officially starts next week. We didn't do any school this week except for Buster reading Mouse Tales to me. He really enjoyed reading it, but I noticed the level two books are getting pretty easy for him to read. It is about time to jump into some harder books. We are having a garage sale tomorrow, so hopefully we can get rid of some junk, and make some money too. Next week my husband is on vacation, and we will be working on the house. The two big kids are going to VBS in the mornings, and my sister and I are going to work on some projects inside, while my husband and his brother work on the outside of the house. Stay tuned for some pictures to come. I have also been contemplating changing math curriculum next year. I'm still up in the air about it so we'll see.

Head over to http://www.weirdunsocializedhomeschoolers.com/ for more wrap ups!

Yay, You have a pool! FUN! The airplane is awesome.
Sey is signed up for VBS, too. The kids will have a blast together! May signed her up yesterday. We thought it was for 4 and up, but found out Wed that it is 3 and up. I am praying that you have a super turn out tomorrow and sell all your stuff! Love ya.

This is our first year of being too old for VBS. It's kinda sad since we've been going to them for 15 years. Have lot so fun!

That water looks so inviting! (As I write this in 90 degree weather) :-)

Seriously, you have a beautiful blog - love the design!

Fun in the sun is always enjoyable.

Usually more enjoyable then the house projects, at least until they're finished. LOL We've done a few of those ourselves over the past couple months.

"Buddy" is edible. Love it.

P.S. I will finally get to meet you face to face--someone paid for myself and two children to fly to Oregon for three weeks {August 12-Sept 8}.

Great Pics! Love it when it's warm enough to get the pool out. We've had ONE day like that this year. :( Such a weird year so far. YOur little girl looks like she's having so much fin with her little ring!

I'm just starting on this week's blog walk for the crew. I wish it was warm enough here for a pool.

Hi,

I am visiting from the crew.

I like the idea of the weekly wrap up. It is a good idea for all those things you want to share, but aren't enough for a post of their own. I think I need to try this.

Blessings

LOVE how you created a "big" pool feeling with the flotation devices in your little pool...

Very "redneck"- in a frugal-flattering way!

(I am glad to see you're on the crew this year! I have "visited" your site before, and I do believe your reviews will rock!)

Stopping by on a Blog Walk from the crew. Love the title of your blog! It is so hot here (SW Arkansas) that our pool water is more like bath water!

Hi!

Summer is most definitely here in Mississippi! In fact, if my kids go outside, it's to get in the pool. Otherwise, they can only go out early in the morning or late in the afternoon. We're enjoying our break from homeschooling, though!

Glad to have you on the Crew. :)

Hello! I remember "Mouse Tales." What a sweet book! My youngest is 9 now and my oldest is 13 so I don't have any littles anymore (sigh).

I'm visiting from the TOS Older Crew. Your background paper on your blog is lovely.

If you ever have time, come visit me at http://tobebusyathome.blogspot.com. This will be my first year with the Crew and I'm excited about the new opportunity.
