Weekly Wrap Up!

We had a fun week!

I ordered the kids a classical music CD and they had fun listening to it on Wednesday. Buster's drawing is really improving using the Draw Write Now books. We drew Coyotes this week. All of us are enjoying his Land Animal book for science. I think my husband and I are learning as much as he is. Sweetpea finished her first Explode the code book, and she was really excited about it.

Our new school mascot! Blackie
Buster drew this all on his own today! I thought it was really cute.

Buster's Coyote drawing

Sweetpea did a great job coloring in the lines:

Buster enjoys making up sentences using words we are working on. We usually take turns after we do our Phonics Pathways together.

Sweetpea's Panda she colored. She was so excited about how well she did.

The girls love dressing up.

We went to a pond and nature trail for our weekly get together.

Buster climbing the willow tree.

Looking at the creek.

All eleven looking at the fish.

Feeding the ducks.

What great artwork! Daily, I think I learn something new, or something I forgot. Sometimes I feel like the homeschool student :)

I loved your kiddos art work. :)

I think I might buy a Draw. Write. Now. book for my daughters & your post reminded me of that. Thanks!

I love your homeschool mascot! We have two, Sophie and Jasper! They just love to listen to read alouds! (our cats)

I have trouble encouraging my daughter to draw things in nature. She will gladly draw her stuffed animals or holiday pictures, but I think she is too much of a perfectionist? I will have to give it another try this week.

Love Buster's drawing!

We have been trying to enjoy nature, too. Too soon it's going to be freezing here!

Looks like everyone had a fun week!
