Weekly Wrap up!

This week was our last week of school vacation. My plan is to start school back up on Tuesday, but since I decided to switch some of our curriculum last minute we will just start with a few things. I ordered Singapore Math for the kids and the Beyond Little Hearts for His Glory guide. I'm excited about trying these out. If we like it we will most likely stick with Heart of Dakota. I sold my first item on Ebay on Monday, and I have a few things closing this afternoon. This week Buster did some reading, and we did some of the Ebook I'm reviewing "Travel the World"
For a complete list of the curriculum we will be using this coming year click on the Curriculum tab under pages.

Buster and Sweetpea have decided they love Buzz and Woody again since we saw the movie in 3D. It was our first 3D movie, and since we go to the movies so rarely the kids were really excited about it.

Buddy started saying Mama, and likes to stand now!

I took some pictures for Buster's 7 year old birthday. I can't believe how big he is now.

The kids had a blast last Saturday with their cousins A and T. I watched them while their mom was at a wedding.

A, T, and their family are moving to Mexico on the 12Th to be missionaries for our church.

I hope you all have a great Holiday weekend!

Looks like you're having a great time off of school! We don't go to the movies much either, but took the kids to see How to Train Your Dragon as their first 3-D movie. We had a blast! I think we may have to splurge and see TS too! GL starting back up again next week! We started 2 weeks ago (just 3 days a week and not our full fare) and all things considering the transition went well. Hope the same for you!

They grow up FAST, don't they?!

I think we'll wait til Aug 1st to start back, but we have a pretty busy month in July, so that's probably for the best. :)

Enjoy getting your new school year started. I love new curriculum. I ordered the rest of mine yesterday and can't wait for it to arrive.

I am James McDermott. My wife Cindy and I have been blessed by God with 13 children. We also homeschool and believe in purity in the courtship process. Above all, we are Christians. We recently started a website called Christian family meeting place (www.christianfamilymeetingplace.com). Many who hold our views are isolated and are looking for online fellowship, personal fellowship, churches, and even spouses. I am inviting you to register. It is free. If you're not interested, that is perfectly fine. May God bless you in all you do for Him. - In the Vine, Jim for Cindy and the rest
P.S. We also publish SALT Magazine. If you would like to check us out go to www.saltmagazine.com

We enjoyed Toy Story 3 as well. My teenage daughter and I cried quite a bit at the end. I wasn't expecting to cry at Toy Story 3!

We are starting back to school on August 2nd after an 8 week break. I hope your first week of school goes smoothly next week.
